Our volunteer program is the fabric of our agency; with the support of our volunteers we are able to provide the necessary services to our clients that support their needs.
Volunteers receive professional training, in-service workshops, and staff supervision.
Our program requires that interested volunteers be over the age of 18 to be trained to work with our staff and clients.
Our agency also offers a number of community service and internship opportunities.
Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Advocates provide advocacy services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault at area hospitals, police stations, the center or shelter.
Court Advocate volunteers assists victims of domestic violence in obtaining legal support or services and assistance through the court systems.
Community Service is an excellent opportunity for students of all ages to become involved as a community partner, gain experience, and at the same time, fulfill community service requirements needed for graduation. For adolescents/teens ages 14-18.
Administrative volunteers assist our administrative staff with administrative duties, such as data entry, hotline call coverage, filing, shredding.
Fundraising/Events volunteers assist our development coordinator with agency related projects, events, and data entry.
Internships: for individuals who are interested in completing a high school or college internship for credit at our agency.

Volunteers will receive training on cultural diversity, gender and power, sexual and domestic violence dynamics, advocacy skills, and much more!
