Support Groups and Clinics

Due to COVID 19, groups will continue to be held online to ensure the group participants and WRC staff remain protected and safe. Support groups will be provided through GoToMeeting video platform. Pre-registration via email is required as the access link will be unique to each group’s meeting time and date.

A DBT Booster Group focusing on friendships, conflict-resolution, bullying, self-esteem, and coping and communication skills.

Legal Clinic

Offered Bi-Monthly; Currently suspended until further notice due to COVID 19.

 

Meet with an attorney to discuss and Review of NYS laws on Divorce, custody, orders of protection and support/advocacy answers.

 

this workshop is for individuals who are starting or maybe starting the initial process of a divorce, support, custody or order of protection and have not yet retained an attorney.

DV Support Group

Tuesdays from 6:30p-7:45p

In-Person with Childcare Available

 

This weekly support group is for anyone ages 18 and older who has endured domestic violence and/or intimate partner violence in their lifetime. The goal of this group is to foster connection, healing, and mutual support through shared experiences. This is an open group in which members are welcome to join at any point.

 

The group begins Tuesday November 29, 2022 and will be ongoing.
