Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Putnam/Northern Westchester Women's Resource Center to provide advocacy, education and services to the community in order to create a safe, supportive environment that eliminates violence against women and children and promotes gender equality

Multi-purpose counseling, resource and referral center for women. Provides shelter and food for up to 60 days to women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Offers appointments at sites other than the agency.

BATTERED WOMEN'S SHELTER
   Our Sister's Harbor
   Provides emergency shelter and meals to women and children who are 
   survivors of domestic violence. Also provides short term counseling, 
   advocacy and referral to other services. Women may stay for 60 days.
